Manager, International Credit & Collections


An experienced Credit and Collections Manager to lead the international Credit and Collections team. This is a newly defined role based in The Trade Desk’s International HQ in Farringdon. You will report to the International Finance Director and be responsible for collections and credit assessments across all countries outside the US.


  • Take full responsibility for all Non-US credit and collection processes ensuring that tasks are completed to schedule and accurately
  • Work closely with the US Credit & Collections team to ensure group policies and procedures are followed
  • Manage the international Credit & Collections team (currently 2 resources in London), setting monthly and quarterly team targets as well as preforming annual appraisals
  • Continually analyse effectiveness of existing collections strategies and identify new and improved strategies and opportunities
  • Provide Bad Debt forecasting to the US revenue team assessing the collectability of at-risk accounts
  • Produce weekly cash collection forecasts across various currencies
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders across the business driving and escalating dispute resolution when necessary
  • Work closely with the Financial Reporting & Compliance Manager to ensure the team is delivering on audit requests for both the UK & US entities.
  • Participation in other ad-hoc accounting projects as required


  • CICM qualified with 8-10 years’ experience in credit and collections, preferably collecting from media agencies
  • Must have experience managing and developing a team, including managing remote resources
  • You will need to be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Credit & Collections processes and metrics
  • Self-motivated and driven – strives to deliver quality results and drive continuous improvement, gets things done
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst still maintaining attention to detail and effective controls
  • Must be available periodically during early and late business hours to accommodate global time zones
  • Experience dealing with international withholding tax beneficial
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel (V-Lookups, pivot tables)
  • Some travel will be required
